Clear Springs is 9-1 against Brazoswood since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Clear Springs Chargers will challenge the Brazoswood Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Clear Springs has 13 straight victories, Brazoswood has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Clear Springs didn't have too much trouble with Clear Lake as they won 51-34. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Falcons are ranked 247th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Brazoswood played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 63-43 to Clear Falls.

Brazoswood's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Clear Springs, they pushed their record up to 25-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Clear Springs strolled past Brazoswood in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 51-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clear Springs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
