Brandon Valley found their leader in underclassman Alyvia Padgett, who scored 18 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Kennedi Deckert, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Aberdeen Central's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3. As for Brandon Valley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
Aberdeen Central will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Riggs at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Dakota (Riggs is ranked 35th, while Aberdeen Central is ranked 25th). As for Brandon Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Yankton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
