Football Recap: West Stanly Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Stanly played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Eastern Randolph Wildcats, falling 34-6. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Wildcats are ranked 100th).

Despite the loss, West Stanly still got an impressive performance from Dominik Danzy, who rushed for 134 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries.

Kobe Walker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Eastern Randolph, rushing for 180 yards and three scores on only 13 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade McCallum, who threw for 148 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 passes.

This is the second loss in a row for West Stanly and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Eastern Randolph, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

West Stanly didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 38-17 loss against Anson on the 3rd. As for Eastern Randolph, they have also already played their next matchup, a 38-0 victory against Northwood on the 3rd.
