Basketball Recap: Timberlake Christian Tornadoes vs. Temple Christian Crusaders
Timberlake Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 42-31 to the Temple Christian Crusaders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tornadoes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-39 back in December of 2024.
Despite the loss, Timberlake Christian still got an impressive performance from Sawyer Epps, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. That was a full 38.7% of Timberlake Christian's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.
