Softball Recap: Southeast Raleigh Takes a Loss

Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Corinth Holders Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Tuesday.

Southeast Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Corinth Holders, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southeast Raleigh will face off against rival Cleveland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Corinth Holders is set to square off against their familiar foe Fuquay - Varina at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
