Volleyball Game Preview: Triangle Lake Lakers vs. Powers Cruisers

The Triangle Lake Lakers will face off against the Powers Cruisers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Triangle Lake barely beat Mohawk the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lakers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Lakers in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won five in a row.

One reason for the win was Triangle Lake's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Powers made easy work of Riddle on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Powers' win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Triangle Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
