Volleyball Recap: Johnsburg Comes Up Short

Johnsburg and Richmond-Burton squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Johnsburg had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Richmond-Burton Rockets. The Skyhawks haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10.

Carlie Majercik paced Johnsburg's offense, picking up two kills. Majercik got some help from Adelaide Bruns and her four assists. Bruns was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Johnsburg's loss dropped their record down to 14-23. As for Richmond-Burton, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 35-1.

Johnsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Richmond-Burton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Genoa-Kingston on the 31st.
