Baseball Recap: Lawrence Academy Beats Ridgecroft for Their Third Straight Win

Lawrence Academy entered their tilt with Ridgecroft on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Rams. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Creek Johnson looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Lawrence Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Powell, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases. Those three stolen bases gave Powell a new career-high. Another was Hunter Eason, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Lawrence Academy's record is now 9-6. As for Ridgecroft, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
