Soccer Recap: Bountiful Triumphs

Brighton kept up with Bountiful until halftime on Monday, but afterwards: not so much. The RedHawks never let the Bengals get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Bountiful have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Brighton, too.

Bountiful's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Brighton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bountiful will challenge rival Woods Cross at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brighton is set to face off against their familiar foe Viewmont at 3:30 p.m. on September 2. The timing is sure in Brighton's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Viewmont have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
