Softball Recap: Switzerland County Takes a Loss

Switzerland County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Clarksville Generals, falling 16-4.

Switzerland County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bri Stow, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Stow has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Switzerland County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Clarksville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Switzerland County will square off against Milan at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Clarksville, they will take on Austin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
