Baseball Recap: Pisgah Comes Up Short

Pisgah fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Taylorsville on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tartars by a score of 9-8. The Dragons have struggled against the Tartars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Pisgah's record is now 16-7. As for Taylorsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pisgah will venture away from home to take on Pelahatchie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taylorsville, they will square off against Stringer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
