Baseball Recap: Trimble County Raiders vs. Carroll County Panthers
Trimble County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 16-12 to the Carroll County Panthers. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Jacoby Clark made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one stolen base. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season. Nolan Hunt was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Trimble County's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Carroll County, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
While Trimble County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
