Soccer Game Preview: Potomac Senior vs. Forest Park

Potomac Senior is 1-9 against Forest Park since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Panthers will welcome the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. Potomac Senior has given up an average of 4.4 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Potomac Senior's offense. They lost 7-0 to Woodbridge on Thursday. Potomac Senior have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Forest Park got the win against Freedom on Thursday by a conclusive 4-1. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Forest Park hit Freedom with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Olivia Davis, Kaylie Scherer, Charlotte Bobeck, and Hannah Francis.

Potomac Senior's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Forest Park, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Potomac Senior might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Forest Park in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
