Volleyball Recap: Ross Falls Despite Big Games from Sophie Ober and Mya Bosse

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ross can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tippecanoe Red Devils on Wednesday. That makes it the first time this season the Rams have let down their home crowd.

While Ross ultimately came up short, they really made Tippecanoe work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-8, 20-25, 25-15.

Ross' loss came despite strong showings from Mya Bosse and Sophie Ober. Bosse had nine digs, two aces, and one block, while Ober had 14 digs and two assists. Bosse is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 18 every time she's taken the court this season.

Ross' loss dropped their record down to 23-3. As for Tippecanoe, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 26-0.

Ross does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tippecanoe, they will head out on the road to challenge Ursuline Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
