Flag Football Recap: Sanderson Takes a Loss

Sanderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cary Imps. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Imps this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-14 defeat last Tuesday.

Sanderson's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Cary, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sanderson is set to face off against their familiar foe Felton Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cary will square off against rival St. Mary's at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
