Volleyball Recap: The Linsly School Falls Short Against Ranked Tyler

The Linsly School faced Tyler in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Cadets fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2. The Cadets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

The Linsly School wouldn't go down easily and took Tyler into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The final score came out to 25-21, 14-25, 19-25, 25-14, 15-9.

The Linsly School's defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-7. As for Tyler, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season.

As of now, neither The Linsly School nor Tyler have any future games scheduled.
