Everything went their way against Eagle Ridge Academy on Thursday as Prospect Ridge Academy made off with a 74-48 victory. The Miners haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Prospect Ridge Academy's win came from a few key players Kent Denver will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Travis Agbosse, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Brandt, who went 6 for 12 to rack up 13 points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Kent Denver's record now sits at 15-3. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, their record is now 11-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Kent Denver has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 37.5 boards per game.
