Browne had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Maryvale Panthers by a score of 7-3. The Bruins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Axel Inzunza was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Josmel Cruz Meza, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Browne's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Maryvale, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Maryvale will square off against Shadow Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Stallions have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
