Football Recap: William Penn Comes Up Short

William Penn managed to slip by St. Mark the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Colonials had to suffer through a 35-6 loss at the hands of the Spartans. The Colonials' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

William Penn's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Mark's, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. William Penn will square off against Caesar Rodney at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Mark's, they will face off against Indian River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
