Football Recap: Mulberry Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mulberry was the 35-13 winner over Kathleen when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers had to suffer through a 44-6 loss at the hands of the Red Devils.

Xavion Mitchell had a dynamite game For Kathleen., rushing for 161 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. Those 161 rushing yards gave Mitchell a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ashton Frazier, who threw for 100 yards and a pair of TDs.

Mulberry's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Kathleen, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mulberry will head out to square off against George Jenkins at 7:30 p.m. on the 5th. As for Kathleen, they will face off against Cairo at 7:30 p.m. on the 5th.
