It was a Battle of the Birds when Kinkaid faced off against Second Baptist on Friday. The Kinkaid Falcons blew past the Second Baptist Eagles 88-34. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Second Baptist still got an impressive performance from Grace Wehring, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Eloise Tackett, who earned eight points.

Kinkaid's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 47.6 points. As for Second Baptist, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Kinkaid wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-45 victory against Marion on the 26th. As for Second Baptist, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bay Area Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
