Basketball Recap: Sunray Takes a Loss

Sunray lost against Booker back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sunray Bobcats lost to the Booker Kiowas on the road by a 49-31 margin. While the Bobcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Kiowas 14-7 in the first quarter.

Booker's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reydn Rosales, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Julian Barton, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds.

Sunray's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Booker, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Sunray has already played their next match, a 56-30 defeat against Perryton on the 10th. As for Booker, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-28 loss against Wildorado on the 6th.
