Football Recap: Pine Prairie Takes a Loss

Pine Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Northwest Raiders, falling 44-0. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 54-7 to the Raiders when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pine Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Northwest, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Prairie will venture away from home to square off against Church Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for Northwest, they will head out on the road to face off against Ville Platte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
