Softball Recap: Asheville Comes Up Short

Asheville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 35th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-2 to the T.C. Roberson Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 back in March.

Camila Wyda Wyda was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Asheville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for T.C. Roberson, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-12 record.

Coincidentally, Asheville and T.C. Roberson will both be playing A.C. Reynolds the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Rams will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
