Lake Ridge and Mansfield Legacy are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Ridge is returning to their home field after beating Aledo on theirs, despite the fact Aledo has dominated at home this season. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Bearcats on Saturday.

Hayden Jones looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jayde Austin was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Jaiden LaCour-Loyd was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

Meanwhile, Mansfield Legacy won against Crowley on Tuesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Broncos were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Eagles. The victory was nothing new for the Broncos as they're now sitting on three straight.

Lake Ridge's win bumped their record up to 8-11-3. As for Mansfield Legacy, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8.
