Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Rosecrans Bishops vs. Wellington School Jaguars

The Bishop Rosecrans Bishops and the Wellington School Jaguars will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Bishop Rosecrans will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, Bishop Rosecrans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 win over Fairfield Christian Academy.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Rosecrans to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brody Boothe, who went 8 for 18 to rack up 24 points. Tyler Bernett was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Wellington School didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Berne Union on Friday, but they still walked away with a 49-45 victory.

Bishop Rosecrans' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. As for Wellington School, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.

Bishop Rosecrans beat Wellington School 62-49 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Bishop Rosecrans repeat their success, or does Wellington School have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
