Basketball Recap: Marlette Comes Up Short

If Marlette was riding high fresh off their 60-24 takedown of Landmark Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Raiders came up short against the Sandusky Wolves on Wednesday, falling 58-36. The Red Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 58-46.

Marlette's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Sandusky, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Marlette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sandusky, they will challenge Capac at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
