Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Joshua Daniel and Hayden Robbins

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Faith Christian took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodland Baptist Christian. The loss put an end to Faith Christian's undefeated start to the season.

Faith Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Hayden Robbins, who posted 11 points and six boards, and Joshua Daniel, who put up 14 points. Robbins has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Layton Moser was another key player, putting up two points and nine rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Faith Christian fell to 2-1. As for Woodland Baptist Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Faith Christian will head out on the road to take on Asheboro Hybrid Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodland Baptist Christian, they will face off against Hilltop Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
