Basketball Recap: Tiospaye Topa Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tiospa Zina last Friday, Tiospaye Topa came back down to earth. The Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks came up short against the Omaha Nation Chiefs on Saturday, falling 70-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Thunderhawks have suffered since December 18, 2024.

Tiospaye Topa's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Omaha Nation, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tiospaye Topa has already played their next game (against White River), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Omaha Nation will square off against Omaha Christian Academy on Tuesday. One thing working in Omaha Nation's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
