Volleyball Game Preview: Sarasota Sailors vs. Braden River Pirates

Sarasota is 2-8 against Braden River since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Sailors will head out to challenge the Pirates at 7:00 p.m.

On Monday, Sarasota came up short against Tampa Catholic and fell 3-1.

Sarasota couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Tampa Catholic a tough time in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 27-29, 25-20, 30-28.

Meanwhile, Braden River earned a 3-1 win over Lakewood Ranch on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Braden River had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 29-27, 25-13, 25-19.

Sarasota's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Braden River, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
