Basketball Recap: Sebring Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Sebring and Lake Wales squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Sebring had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lake Wales Highlanders by a score of 41-39. The Blue Streaks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Highlanders earlier this season, when they won 74-57.

Lake Wales' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Siled Morris led the charge by putting up ten points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Samauri Wilson, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 11 points.

Sebring is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14. As for Lake Wales, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-14.

Sebring does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Wales, they will square off against Auburndale on Friday. Lake Wales is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.6 points per game this season.
