Basketball Recap: Crossover Prep Find Success

Crossover Prep hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost three straight) but thanks in part to Chloe Woodson that streak is no more. The Crossover Prep Lions blew past the Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy N/A 49-25 on Tuesday thanks in part to Woodson, who dropped a triple-double on 31 points, ten boards, and 16 steals. She is becoming a predictor of Crossover Prep's success: when she posts at least eight boards the team is 2-1 (and 4-5 when she doesn't).

Jah-Halla Sims was another key player, putting up ten points along with eight boards and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played.

The victory got Crossover Prep back to even at 6-6. As for Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Crossover Prep will challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Mingo Valley Christian at 6:15 p.m. on January 17th.
