Mattanawcook extended their winning streak to 21 games thanks to a huge performance from Kooper McCarthy. The Mattanawcook Lynx came out on top against the Madawaska Owls by a score of 81-71 on Saturday thanks in part to McCarthy, who went 9-for-13 to rack up 28 points and five assists. The game was his fourth in a row with at least 15 points.

James Trott was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to five assists and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last four games he's played.

Mattanawcook's victory bumped their record up to 21-0. As for Madawaska, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-2.

Coming up, Mattanawcook will square off against Mount Abram at 8:45 p.m. on March 1st. Mattanawcook is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 77.8 points per game this season. Madawaska does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
