The Green Valley Gators will take on the Las Vegas Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Green Valley is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Legacy, who was ranked 17th at the time (Green Valley was ranked 25th). Green Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against Legacy on Tuesday, sneaking past 24-21.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Las Vegas, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against Basic by a score of 33-20 on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their 13-point performance the contest before.

Green Valley has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-13 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points per game. As for Las Vegas, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9.
