The Gaels put the finishing touches on undefeated season with 70-28 victory over Reed in NIAA DI state championship game.

Reno, Nev. - The Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) football team put the finishing touches on a perfect season Saturday afternoon with a convincing 70-28 victory over Reed in the NIAA Division I state championship game at Damonte Ranch High School.

Among those in attendance to watch the Gaels claim the title were boxing legend Muhammand Ali and rapper Snoop Dogg. Ali's grandson is a sophomore running back on the Bishop Gorman team and Dogg's son is a senior receiver.

The Gales finished with a 14-0 record while winning their sixth straight state championship under head coach Tony Sanchez.
