Volleyball Game Preview: Estelline/Hendricks vs. DeSmet Bulldogs

Estelline/Hendricks will head out on the road to face off against the DeSmet Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Estelline/Hendricks came up short against Sioux Falls Lutheran and fell 3-1. Estelline/Hendricks has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 15-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Meanwhile, DeSmet suffered their biggest defeat since November 7, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Clark/Willow Lake, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Cyclones recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

While DeSmet had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-22.

Estelline/Hendricks' loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for DeSmet, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Estelline/Hendricks was able to grind out a solid win over DeSmet in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 2-0. Will Estelline/Hendricks repeat their success, or does DeSmet has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
