Softball Recap: Strongsville Mustangs vs. McKinley Bulldogs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Strongsville walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the McKinley Bulldogs on Monday. The Mustangs not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 21st (when they won 10-1).

Addison Heidenhoffer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Emma Hartman was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
