Colony is 0-10 against South Anchorage since April of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Knights will face off against the Wolverines at 5:15 p.m.

Colony is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Wasilla, who was ranked fifth at the time (Colony was ranked sixth). The Knights fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 9-8 on Saturday. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Jack Zuspan looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Evan Baldwin was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Landon Drumm was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

South Anchorage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory (which was South Anchorage's fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Colony, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
