Soccer Recap: Shades Valley Comes Up Short

Shades Valley and Pell City squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Shades Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Shades Valley's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Shades Valley's loss dropped their record down to 13-6-3. As for Pell City, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Shades Valley nor Pell City have any future games scheduled.
