Baseball Recap: Yerington Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

Yerington waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the West Wendover Wolverines 11-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-2 on Friday.

Valor Angle made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Angle was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alexis Martinez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Colby Rowe, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
