Glencoe had won three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 14-5 to make it four. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Century Jaguars 4-2. The win continues a trend for the Crimson Tide in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won six in a row.

As for Century, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 12-5 Forest Grove (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 72.1% over those games).
On Century's side, they also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Alyssa Loza gave up four runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up 13 Ks.
