Illini West waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans as they made off with a 47-26 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-8.

Illini West's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Wesley Robertson led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Robertson has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tre Neiderman, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Illini West's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Bushnell-Prairie City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-17.

Illini West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-44 win against Monmouth-Roseville on the 15th. As for Bushnell-Prairie City, they will welcome Cuba/Spoon River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
