Softball Recap: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Garfield Bulldogs
Roosevelt extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 8-8 in the process. They came up short against the Garfield Bulldogs, falling 15-3. That's two games in a row now that the Roughriders have lost by exactly 12 runs.
Samantha Wright was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3.

At the plate, Michelle Arimura was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jordana King, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Roosevelt didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-2 victory against Holy Names Academy on the 1st. As for Garfield, they have also already played their next contest, a 22-12 win against Bishop Blanchet on the 1st.
