Cheatham County Central has gone a perfect 4-0 against East Hickman County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cubs will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Cheatham County Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Cheatham County Central beat Sycamore 12-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cubs.

Bailey Rivers looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sophia Dolinich, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Lauren Anderson was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Cheatham County Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for East Hickman County's offense. They lost 8-0 to Creek Wood on Wednesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cheatham County Central's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for East Hickman County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Cheatham County Central took their win against East Hickman County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-4 score. Will the Cubs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
