Martin Luther King won the last time they faced Hill Freedman World Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Martin Luther King Cougars made off with a 42-41 win over Hill Freedman World Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Several Hill Freedman World Academy players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaiden Copeland, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Amaad Lyles, who earned six points along with eight boards and six steals.

Martin Luther King's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Hill Freedman World Academy, with the loss, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-2.

Martin Luther King has already played their next match, a 45-41 win against High School of the Future on the 23rd. As for Hill Freedman World Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-56 victory against Maritime Academy Charter on the 23rd.
