Basketball Recap: Tulelake Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four matchups, Tulelake finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They were dealt a 72-28 defeat at the hands of the Trinity Wolves. The game marked the Honkers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Trinity got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Wesley Dresselhaus out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine boards. That's the most points Dresselhaus has posted since back in December of 2024. Carver Dresselhaus was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 11 points along with seven assists and seven steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tulelake fell to 4-1. As for Trinity, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Tulelake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-62 victory against Surprise Valley on the 9th. As for Trinity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-41 win against Hamilton on the 9th.
