Volleyball Recap: Ninilchik Takes a Loss

Ninilchik was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Susitna Valley Rams, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-13.

Ninilchik's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Susitna Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Ninilchik didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lumen Christi on the 24th. Hopefully Susitna Valley paid attention to the Wolverines' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wolverines at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
