Volleyball Game Preview: iMater Charter Knights vs. Mourning Sharks + Official Tickets

The IMater Charter Knights will venture away from home to take on the Mourning Sharks at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mourning took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on iMater Charter, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, iMater Charter got the win against Hialeah-Miami Lakes by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Mourning lost 3-0 to True North Classical Academy on Thursday. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-10, 25-17.

Mourning's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for iMater Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

IMater Charter suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Mourning in their previous meeting back in August. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
