Soccer Recap: Milan Takes a Loss

Milan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Shawe Memorial this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 two weeks ago.

Milan now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Shawe Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Milan wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 6-0 defeat against Franklin County on the 10th. As for Shawe Memorial, they will square off against Trinity Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
