Arab and Moody squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Arab had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 49-7 loss at the hands of the Moody Blue Devils. The match marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

A big part of Moody's victory came down to the chemistry between Charlie Johnston and his top target Josiah Dozier. Johnston threw for 301 yards and four touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes while Dozier picked up 185 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Johnston is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last three games he's played. Moody also got a significant boost from Bravis Cave Jr, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 84 yards.

Arab's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Moody, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Arab does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moody, they will square off against Wenonah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have allowed few points on average, (Moody: 13.3, Wenonah: 14) so any points scored will be well earned.
